First Amendment

People use freedom of the press all the time in schools, newspapers, and on t.v. In the first Amendment, freedom of the press is another way of saying freedom to publish. This is saying that only published documents are to be protected by this right. The first Amendment does not give the right to the public to know anything, not even what the government is doing.In schools, the teachers have the right to censor whatever they want. The news also has the right to censor what they want to.
