In the house of representatives, many of the republican members are not being allowed to speak . The current Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, doesn't believe that freedom of speech should extend to members of the minority party in our House of Representatives. On July 13, 2009, Democrats voted to shut down the U.S. House Representatives rather than allow a handful of Republican Congressmen to speak on the floor.Only the republicans are not able to speak, while democrats can speak as much as they want.

I do not agree with this because if they are going to let one side talk, they should let the other side talk to. this also violates freedom of speech in the Constitution. In the article, it says that republicans are not allowed to speak so that they cannot criticize what the democrats and the Obama administration do.
